Robert Gautreau, 67, of Gautreau Village, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, December 6, 2000.

Born in Gautreau Village, he was the son of the late Adélard Gautreau and Agathe Boudreau. He was retired from C.N.R. He attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church and was a former Fire Chief of Pré-d'en-Haut Fire Department.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Lorraine (LeBlanc) Gautreau; three daughters, Odette (Edgar) LeBlanc, Gilberte (Léo-Paul) LeBlanc, Gisèle (Robert) LeBlanc, all of Memramcook Est: four sons, Eugène (Lola) Gautreau of Memramcook Est, Marcel (Carole) Gautreau of Pré-d'en-Haut, Armand (Carole) Gautreau of Dover, Marc Gautreau of Barachois; three sisters. Irene (Fred) Bourgault of Rock Forest, Que., Bernadette (late Arthur) St-Martin of Wahnapeter, ON, Bernice (Léo) Lirette of Dover; two brothers, Georgie (Jeannette) Gautreau of Grimsby, ON, Jean-Paul (Tina) Gautreau of Waltham, Mass; ten grandchildren: several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Yvonne, Olive, Edna; two brothers, Oscar, Arthur.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, on Saturday, December 9, 2000, at 11am. Interment in the Parish Cemelery.
